On this 5-day, 4-night journey, you’ll be immersed in Vietnam’s UNESCO-recognized heritage cities and majestic nature as you cycle through some of the most picturesque routes in the Central region. Starting from the most livable city in Vietnam, Da Nang, the journey will take you through the ancient town of Hoi An, the historic capital of Hue, and the breathtaking landscapes of Phong Nha-Ke Bàng. This spring adventure promises a one-of-a-kind experience, combining cultural exploration, stunning scenery, and the thrill of challenging cycling routes, offering the perfect opportunity to push your limits and experience the best of Vietnam.

The program includes 4 days of cycling. The route includes a challenging 10km climb up the Hai Van Pass with an elevation gain of 500m, while the rest consists of gentle slopes.
The cycling route is mainly asphalt and concrete roads, suitable for MTB, Touring or Gravel bikes.
The group will cycle at an average speed of 15-17km/h, with regular stops every 20-25km for rest and snacks.
Requirement: Able to cycle over 70 km/ a day.

- Da Nang: Cycle through Vietnam’s most livable city, admiring the iconic Dragon Bridge and relaxing on Da Nang Beach, named one of the world’s six most charming beaches.
- Hoi An Ancient Town: Explore the charming streets of Hoi An with its historic wooden houses and vibrant yellow walls. Visit traditional craft villages, including Tra Que Vegetable Village and Thanh Ha Pottery Village, and experience the town’s magical atmosphere, illuminated by thousands of colorful lanterns at night.
- Hai Van Pass: Conquer the stunning 21km Hai Van Pass, offering panoramic views of Da Nang Bay, Lang Co, and the majestic Bach Ma mountain range. Enjoy the challenge and breathtaking landscapes as you ride along winding roads.
- Hue: Pedal through the ancient capital of Hue, visiting historical sites like the Hue Citadel, Thien Mu Pagoda, Vong Canh Hill and Khai Dinh Tomb. Savor local specialties like beef noodle soup and mussel rice.
- Phong Nha: Explore the serene Bong Lai Valley and the picturesque Son River. Challenge yourself on a unique suspension bridge, and discover the Dark Cave’s stunning stalactites and thrilling activities like ziplining and mud bathing.
Itinerary Details:
Day 1: Saigon – Da Nang – Hoi An (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
Cycling: 60km | Elevation Gain/Loss: ±300m
Meet at 6:35 am at Da Nang Domestic Airport and transfer to the starting point. After coffee, snacks, and bike prep, begin cycling along Da Nang’s coastline to Hoi An.
From there, transfer by bus to the starting point, where you’ll enjoy coffee, snacks, and a quick bike prep before hitting the road.
Cycle along Da Nang’s stunning coastline toward Hoi An, exploring the city through a scenic circular route that showcases its most iconic landmarks.
First, visit Tra Que Vegetable Village, where you’ll experience the tranquility of rural life and learn about traditional herb cultivation. Continue to the lush Bay Mau Coconut Forest before heading into the heart of the old town to admire the famous Japanese Covered Bridge, a symbol of Hoi An’s rich history.
Follow the Thu Bon River to Thanh Ha Pottery Village, cross the Cau Lau Bridge, and arrive at Duy Xuyen to relax at a charming old brick kiln coffee shop. End the day’s ride with a ferry trip back to the old town and check into your hotel.
In the evening, immerse yourself in Hoi An’s culinary delights, sampling local specialties like Cao Lau, Quang noodles, Banh Xeo, and grilled meats. Cap off the night by enjoying the lively riverside atmosphere, filled with vibrant bars and restaurants.

Day 2: Hoi An – Hai Van Pass – Hue (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

Today’s journey is both challenging and exhilarating.
Start the day by conquering the iconic Hai Van Pass, renowned for its breathtaking beauty where sky, clouds, and ocean meet. The winding road through the Bach Ma Mountain Range offers panoramic views of Lang Co Bay and its pristine white sand beaches. The cool air and thrilling bends make this pass a dream for adventure seekers. At the summit, pause at Hai Van Quan to marvel at ancient architecture and the triumph of reaching “Thien Ha De Nhat Hung Quan” (the world’s most marvelous wonder).
Descend to the tranquil Lap An Lagoon before heading to Hue for lunch.
In the afternoon, cycle through Hue’s charming streets and explore its famed landmarks, including Huong Village, Vong Canh Hill, Thuy Tien Lake, and Khai Dinh Tomb, one of the most beautiful tombs of the Nguyen Dynasty. Then glide along the Huong River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda and experience Hue’s dedicated cycling route.
End the day by indulging in Hue’s culinary specialties, from beef noodle soup and mussel rice to banh beo and traditional sweet soups, all enjoyed amidst the old town’s historic ambiance.

Day 3: Explore Hue and Travel to Phong Nha (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

Begin the day cycling through Hue’s historic Imperial Citadel, stopping for photos and exploration. Continue to Bao Vinh Ancient Town and the picturesque Tam Giang Lagoon, the largest brackish water lagoon in Southeast Asia, nestled within the Tam Giang – Cau Hai system. From there, take a ferry to cross the lagoon and cycle along the scenic coastal road.
Around midday, arrive at Phuoc Tich Ancient Village, renowned for its traditional pottery and timeless architecture. Stroll among ancient houses, learn about the art of pottery-making, and experience the serene pace of rural life.
After lunch, transfer by bus to Phong Nha. Along the way, visit Hien Luong Bridge and Ben Hai River, which are traces of a period of division.
Arrive in Phong Nha late in the afternoon, check in, and settle into the tranquil town.

Day 4: Cycling to Explore Phong Nha (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

Embark on an exhilarating ride through Phong Nha town, home to Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, recognized twice by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage, with an extremely diverse and rich ecosystem with limestone mountains millions of years old, unique caves and also home to the local people here.
In the morning, cycle to the idyllic Bong Lai Valley, a rural haven beloved by visitors worldwide. Cross the legendary Son River via a pontoon bridge and journey onward to Phong Nam Village. Continue pedaling to the serene Bau Sen Village, where suspension bridges span emerald-green streams, offering a picture-perfect backdrop.
Stop for lunch near Chay Lap Village, then dive into adventure at the Chay River – Dark Cave Eco-tourism Area. Thrill-seekers can enjoy activities like ziplining, mud bathing in the cave, or simply exploring the pristine natural surroundings.
In the afternoon, return to the hotel by bus. Conclude the day with a heartfelt farewell party, celebrating the unforgettable experiences and camaraderie of this remarkable journey.
Overnight in Dong Hoi.
Day 5: Leisure Time & Departure (Breakfast Included)
Start your day with a relaxed breakfast, then enjoy free time to explore the surrounding area, take a refreshing swim, or simply unwind at your own pace.
In the afternoon, transfer to Dong Hoi Airport for your flight back to Saigon, marking the end of an unforgettable journey through Vietnam’s stunning central region.

Cancellation Policy
- Deposit 3,000,000 VND per person upon registration.
- Pay the remaining balance 7 days before departure.
- More than 15 days before departure: Full refund of the deposit.
- From 7 to 14 days before departure: Non-refundable deposit or 50% of the total tour cost.
- Under 7 days before the tour starts: 100% loss of all payments made.
- Late arrival at the starting point of the tour for any reason: This will be considered a cancellation and will result in a loss of all payments made.
- No refund will be issued if you voluntarily leave a tour early for any reason, including not being able to ride a bicycle at a sufficient level to participate in the tour.
- In some cases, the deposit may equal the full value of the tour.
